HVVi Semiconductors is a manufacturer of high performance silicon RF power transistors for wireless applications.  The HVVFET™ utilizes an innovative device architecture that combines high current density with high voltage operation. The transistor structure greatly reduces device parasitics which results in frequency performance greater than 10 times that of other vertical transistors.  HVVi's patented HVVFET™ technology platform is a solution for improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of high power electronic systems.

HVVi was founded in 2004 and is located in Phoenix, Arizona.  In 2008, HVVi is launching product families for the pulsed RF transistor market.  Pulsed RF transistors are used in a variety of markets such as military/avionics, medical, and industrial where large bursts of power are required in a defined frequency spectrum.  The market is seeing explosive growth because of the need for new radar systems worldwide and the increasing use of RF for medical and industrial applications.  HVVi is poised to take a leadership role in this space.
